Gay and dying...sorry, not part of the 'Culture of Life'

If you're like me, you've been enjoying the hypocrisy of the Republicans screaming about the "culture of life". But what's going on in Michigan is a fucking joke.

"Doctors or other health care providers could not be disciplined or sued if they refuse to treat gay patients under legislation passed Wednesday by the Michigan House. The bill allows health care workers to refuse service to anyone on moral, ethical or religious grounds."

So let me get this straight...a doctor can refuse to treat a patient because they're gay? Let's be clear on this; emergency medical technicians can arrive at someone's house and refuse to care for them because they're gay?

So I should expect DeLay, Frist and Bush to be running back to Washington to prevent this right? Refusing to care for someone, even a sinner, is immoral, right? By refusing to care for someone, they can die and we all know how important the 'culture of life' is to Conservatives...oh wait, it's conservatives passing this bill...how shocking!!
